Laurelei Mary (Hewitt) Darrow

Laurelei Hewitt Darrow (Laurie) was born to her parents, D. Jeanette Hewitt and Robert W. Hewitt on August 1st, 1960 in Hilltown, PA. Her parents greatly influenced her walk with the Lord. She was a lifelong member of Hilltown Baptist Church in Hilltown, PA. On June 8th, 1985, she married Joseph H. Darrow. She and her husband enjoyed many years together along with their five children. She was a blessing to all with her constant peaceful, kind spirit. Always looking for a way to touch and encourage others, Laurie made an impact on countless lives. By the grace of God, Laurie fought cancer courageously for almost five years. She passed away on January 26th, 2020 at about 10:10am at age 59. She leaves behind her husband, Joseph H. Darrow, her mother, D. Jeanette Hewitt, her two brothers Brent (Wendy) and Barry (Michele), her aunt, Elizabeth H. Hewitt, and her five children and six grandchildren, L. Joy (Jonathan, ​Nathaniel, Judah, Selah ​ ), Jared (Sarah, ​Auden, D. Mae, Florence ​ ), Zachariah (Natalie), Eliza (Ivan), and Joseph. We are so glad that she is no longer feeling pain and are rejoicing that she is now with Jesus. We look forward to celebrating her life on Sunday, February 2nd at 4pm at Cornerstone Community Church (​3167 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19134​). All are welcome.
