Lawrence J. Dailey "Larry", a lifelong resident of Fishtown, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 at the age of 68. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Jacob and Betty Lou (nee O'Brien).
A skilled electrician for many years, Larry was known not only for his trade but for his incredible handiness. He was the one everyone in the family called when something needed fixing—and he was always there, no questions asked.
He loved golfing and could often be found on the corner of Montgomery and Belgrade, spending time with his longtime buddies, sharing stories and laughs. Holidays were always spent with family, where his presence brought warmth, humor, and steady support. Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry is preceded in death by his loving parents. He is survived by his loving sisters Susan Campbell (late Robert) and Barbara Profeta (Gary). He is the dear uncle of Nicole Landis (Daniel), Jessica Profeta, and Jason Profeta (Shannon). Great uncle of Luca, Jake, Dillon (Hollie), Abigail, and great great uncle of Colter. Sadly missed by his extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Sunday June 8, 2025 from 7-9pm and Monday June 9, 2025 from 10-11am in the Hubert M.
