Lisa A. Lewandowski passed away suddenly on September 22, 2021 at the age of 47. Beloved daughter of Dolores (nee McNamee) and the late William. Cherished wife of Ray Martorell. Devoted mother of Joseph P. Burns Jr.(Christina), Sean P. Burns, and Nicholas A. Martorell. Loving Mom-Mom of Joseph, Julian, and Jordan. Dear sister of Dolores Fowler (Nunzio), Nancy Flynn (Tom), William (Desiree), Pepper Sells (Adam), and Dawn Daly (Patrick). Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lisa was born and raised in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, and remained there throughout her life, raising her children on the very street that she grew up on. She attended Visitation BVM and Carroll High School. Lisa spent her life helping anyone and everyone with whatever they needed from her, especially the homeless and those down on their luck. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the Rock Ministries serving those battling addiction. She truly had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off of her back. Her greatest joy, though, came from time spent with her family. She loved each of them dearly and loved being a Mom and Mom-Mom. She will be missed by all those whose lives she has touched in her life.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Thursday September 30, 2021 beginning at 6:30pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 8pm in the funeral home.
