Louisa Rossi Obituary

Louisa was born in Philadelphia to the late Walter and Catherine Dillon Rhoads. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted sister and loving niece.

Her life was devoted to taking care of her children .  When they were younger, she was very talented in crocheting them their clothes.  She enjoyed making their Halloween costumes from scratch . As her children grew up, she decided to go back to work.  She was very active and enjoyed traveling to New York where she managed an estate for two gentlemen who she adored. On her days off she enjoyed watching old movies and she loved her murder mysteries.

As Louisa fell ill, she very fortunate to have family by her side through it all.  They are the true definition of what family should be.  We would love to know that she truly knows how much we loved taking care of her and able to take this journey with her.  Lovingly Dot, Jennifer, Melissa, Evelyn and Susan.

She is survived by her husband Paul and her children Bridget and Jacqueline, her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.   She is the dear sister of Dorothea Riess ( Louis ), Walter Rhoads ( Evelyn ) , Thomas ( Kathy ) and the late Mary Orner, Winnie Buck ( Joseph) , Barbara Carlson, John Rhoads and Clara McFaull.    Sadly missed by her loving caregivers, Jennifer Buck ( Daniel ), Melissa Carlson ( Matthew ) and of course her devoted sister Dot.
