Marcella B. Dugan

 Marcella was born in Philadelphia to the late Robert and Elizabeth Miller Reese.  She passed away in St. John Neumann Nursing Facility.

A long time resident of St. Anne's Parish, she and her late husband Leo, raised 16 children.  The story goes that all 16 would march to Sunday Mass together.    She was a retired bookbinder and was an avid fan of casino trips and scratch offs. 

Devoted mother of Barbara ( Ray ), Carol ( Harry ), Leo ( Bobbi ), Michael ( Dolores ), Paul ( Barbara ), Robert, Harry ( Leslie ), Timothy ( Sue ),  Anna"Nancy' (  Frank ), Bernadette ( Robert ), Bridgette ( Michael ), Colleen , George ( Rose ), Kathleen ( Efrain ) , Raymond and  Edward ( Terri ).  Forever loved by 41 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Robert ( Naomi )

The family wishes to thank the staff and employees of St. John Neumann Nursing Facility for the loving care and kindness they gave our mother and family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in St. Anne's Church, 2328 East Lehigh Ave. 6 to 8 PM and again on Thursday at 9 AM also in the Church,  where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers,  the family is respectfully requesting memorial contribution to either Gift of Life Donor Program or the Pink Elephant Movement.
