Margaret “Peg” C. (McNichols) Young

Margaret C. Young (née McNichols) passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 83. She was born on February 17, 1937 to the late Raymond and Ethel (Lavery) McNichols. She was raised in St. Bridget Parish in East Falls and later Visitation Parish in Kensington. After marrying, she and her husband raised their own children in St. Anne Parish. Peg enjoyed her time in the  Poconos and Florida with her loving husband Hank. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of 80 descendants, all of whom she was so proud of and loved dearly. 
Margaret is the beloved wife of Henry V. Young. Devoted mother to Henry (Mary), Monica (Robert), Maureen, John (Arlene), James (Brenda), Margaret (Barry), Joseph (Joycie), and the late Baby Jimmy and Anne-Marie. Dear sister of John McNichols (Catherine). Sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters in law, and her nieces and nephews. 
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday February 8, 2021 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral mass 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Sisters of the Sacred Heart c/o St. Frances De Sales Convent 424 East Browning Rd. Bellmawr NJ 08031
