Peggy was born in Philadelphia. She lived in Port Richmond on Lehigh Avenue, and Fishtown on Thompson Street. Peggy loved the close-knit community of these neighborhoods, where she lived her entire life. She attended Saint Anne’s where she graduated with a business certificate. As a homemaker, wife and mother, Peggy was devoted to her family and was always happiest when she was surrounded by her children, their children, their friends, neighbors, the neighbor's children...she was everyone's "MomMom." She touched so many lives with her welcoming kindness and affection, brightening any room with her laughter and generous spirit.
Peggy’s family and friends will miss her immensely. They take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her daughter Chrissy, parents and loved ones who have gone before her.
A private family service will be held at Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home followed by interment at New Cathedral Cemetery, where she will Rest In Peace with her parents and grandparents.
