Mary Kathleen Bilotta (nee Sweeney) passed away on January 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her devoted family. She was born in Philadelphia to the late James and Helene (nee McCann) Sweeney and attended St. Joachim's Catholic Grade School. She later attended Little Flower Catholic High School and was very proud of her alma mater.
Mary was the definition of selflessness; giving everything she had and expecting nothing in return. She would do anything to make the people she loved feel happy, safe, and secure. She also had a way of making people feel special and seen for who they were no matter what. Her love was unconditional, unwavering, and constant, even in the hardest times. She will be greatly missed and her family takes comfort that she is being reunited in heaven with her loved ones, especially her cherished son Christopher.
Mary is the beloved wife of Michael Bilotta. Devoted mother of Kathleen Osborn (Ryan), Colleen Hepworth (Edward), Maureen Kletcheck (Benjamin), and the late Christopher Bilotta (Meagan Shank). Loving grandmother of Christopher Bilotta Jr., Julia Hepworth, Ryan Osborn Jr., Dean Osborn, Ian Osborn, Rowan Osborn, Vincent Hepworth, Benjamin Kletcheck, and Theodore Kletcheck. Dear sister of Helene Suarez (Joseph), Joseph Sweeney (Andrea), Patrice Devine (Michael), and the late Bernice Sweeney. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation and funeral Thursday January 29, 2026 beginning at 9:45am in St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church 5450 E. Roosevelt Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19149, followed by her funeral mass at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Pink Elephant Movement http://www.pinkelephantmovement.org
