Mary Anne Brogan

Mary Anne Brogan, age 63, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born February 1, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pa to the late Anna (nee Murray) and Edward A. Brogan. 

Mary Anne is survived by her brother Edward F. Brogan, sister Patricia Hand  (the late Frank), and her nieces Brittany Hayden and Rachael Hayden.

Mary Anne enjoyed basketball at a younger age when she was enrolled at St. Anne's Catholic grade School. She attended John W. Hallahan during her High school years.

Mary Anne had an avid love for music. She had an extensive collection of CDs/tapes, and loved grooving in the car listening to David Bowie. She looked forward to her weekly adventures going shopping and having lunch with her mother Anna. When she wasn’t on her outings, you could find her engrossed in a Word Find, playing Bingo, or doing Arts & Crafts. She totally enjoyed family festivities, holidays and birthdays being her favorite. 

Mary Anne will be remembered for her strength and ability to see the lighter side of life when tough situations arose. She had a unique ability to put a smile on your face with her witty commentary and blunt remarks. Mary Anne would always lighten your mood during your worst day. Even though Mary Anne was facing a progressive disease, she was truly grateful for the time she was able to spend with her family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Saturday July 2, 2022 from 9:15-10:15am in St. Timothy Church 3001 Levick Street Philadelphia PA 19149. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
