Maryann (Boice) Eastburn

Maryann Eastburn (nee Boice) passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 72. She was born in Philadelphia on August 15, 1953 to the late William and Mary (nee Gallagher) Boice. 

Maryann was raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, in both the St. Anne and Nativity parishes. She enjoyed her childhood spent surrounded by her family and they all grew up very close. Maryann was funny and marched to the beat of her own drum. She enjoyed reading, sitting on the beach, and baking. As her daughter says, she was famous for her "Irish rag cake" and her Christmas cookies. 

Maryann is the beloved mother of Christine Eastburn (Tyler Downing). Dear sister of the late Dennis Boice and Lorraine Charlton. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and her cousin and dear friend Christine Groom. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life Saturday March 7, 2026 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125 followed by her funeral service at 11am.
