Matthew G. Wiley, age 23, passed away suddenly on January 20, 2024. He is the beloved son of Ellen Marcucci and Gregory and Charlotte Wiley. Dear brother of Richard, Sarah, William, Emily, and Lilly. Loving grandson of Loretta and Martin Marcucci and Todd and the late Miriam Wiley. Sadly missed by his girlfriend Melissa Patterson and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Matthew was raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, in Nativity BVM parish. He attended Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School and met many of his friends there. Matthew loved cars, video games, and his animals. He was a fun-loving person who was goofy and could make anyone smile. Those who loved him knew him as always being the life of the party. He will be greatly missed,
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Monday January 29, 2024 beginning at 10:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by his funeral service at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions towards his final expenses and they have set up a Go Fund Me.
