Michael J. Amery

Michael J. Amery passed away suddenly on  February 7, 2021 at the age of 49. He is the beloved son of the late Samuel and Frances (née Kinter) Amery. Devoted father of Rebecca, Michael, and the late Jessica. Loving Poppy to Kira, Emily, Michael, Nathaniel, Alexander, Ava, and Savannah. Dear brother of Mary and the late Samuel (Ruth), George, Anna Marie Pacis, and Robert. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and his fur babies Zoey and Hannah. Michael was a bricklayer by trade and very talented in his work. He was very proud of the jobs that he did and would love to point them out when traveling around the city with his family. He was truly one of the good guys and there was not a person that he did not like. Michael had an amazing laugh that his family would lovingly say was “annoying”. He will be remembered as a loyal person who would do anything for anyone. 
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday February 13, 2021 beginning at 10am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. The family would like everyone wishing to pay their respects to be able to do so. Due to occupancy restrictions in the funeral home surrounding Covid-19, his 12pm funeral service will be private. The family thanks everyone for their support and understanding during this time.
