Michael P. Hood went home to be with the Lord along with his beloved life partner, Donna Curran on August 7, 2019. He was 63 years old. He is the loving father of Angela DiCecco (Bummer), Michael Jacobs and grandfather of William Sigler Jr., Alana DiCecco, and Nolan Kalup. Dear brother of Edwina Flannery, Bridget Bishop, Eddie Hood (Grogan) and the late Laura Unrath and Paul Hood. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and many friends. 

Michael worked hard as a property manager and always enjoyed helping people in any way he could. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and visiting Atlantic City for the casinos and beach. He loved to be with his family. Although they will miss him, they take comfort in knowing that he was a faithful man and is enjoying heaven with his loved ones who have gone before him.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Tuesday August 20, 2019 beginning at 12 noon in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 E. Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service and words of Remembrance will begin at 1:30pm.
