Michael J. Clark

Michael was born in Philadelphia to the late Daniel and Kathleen Dempsey Clark.  He passed away unexpectedly at the Immaculate Mary Home.  Born and raised in  Nicetown, he attended St. Veronica's School and was an altar server in the parish for many years.   After St. Veronica's he went on to graduate from Cardinal Dougherty HS .   After high school, Michael went to Villanova University, were he received his degree in Education. He went on  to enter St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Deciding the priesthood wasn't for him, Michael used his degree in education and taught at Incarnation of Our Lord RC Church in Olney for many years.  He also attended Settlement Music School, training for the opera stage.. He was the soloist in a number of churches in the area. 

He is survived by his siblings Marie Charter ( the late Keith ), Daniel P. Clark ( Mary Jo ), Mary Schofield ( Dennis ),  John F. Clark.  His brother Gerard passed away March 17th of this year.   Michael is also survived by 2 generations of nieces and nephews.  He will be laid to rest with his parents and brother. Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside committal service on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11 AM, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.  ( Section V ).
