Michele "Mike" Kalup

Michele Kalup, affectionately known as "Mike" passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on December 1, 1950 to the late Joseph and Patricia (nee Lister) and was a lifelong Fishtown resident. She enjoyed time spent at the Lutheran Settlement and was a longtime member of the Fishtown Ceramic Club at the Fishtown Rec. 

Mike is the dear sister of Patrick Kalup, John "Jack" Kalup (Floss), Marita "Chickie" Kalup, Grace Kalup, Thomas Kalup (Joanne), and the late Joseph "Smokey" Kalup, Veronica Garton (Craig), Lenore Kalup, Edward Hession, Billy Hession, and Mary "Mame" Burns (late Peter). Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service Saturday March 14, 2026 at 10:30am in Palmer Cemetery (Fishtown), followed by her celebration of life at the American Legion Elm Tree Post 88 1414 East Palmer Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates any donations towards her final expenses.
