Mildred M. Brennan “Millie”, age 65, passed away at home on August 18, 2023. She was born on January 18, 1958 to the late Michael and Mary (nee Rosenfelt).
Millie was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and remained there throughout her life. She was a devoted parishioner of Visitation BVM Church and loved the time she spent there and the people she met.
Millie was an extremely hard worker. She worked alongside her family in their business ventures and later as a retail vendor. She was a beloved fixture in the neighborhood and everyone knew her as she would set up shop, rain or shine, selling shirts and other items.
Millie enjoyed her yearly trips to Wildwood with her brother and their families. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Everything she did was for them and she loved them immensely.
Millie is the devoted mother of Edward F. Brennan III (Melissa), Brian McDonald, and Megan McDonald. Beloved life partner of the late Ed McDonald. Loving grandmom of Bryan, Bryanna, Christopher, Destiny, Jayla, Victoria, Chance, Jayana, Eden, and Justina. Dear sister of the late Robert “Hippo” Rosenfelt, Kathleen Katzin, Elizabeth Musha, Michael “Meatball” Musha, and Mary Musha. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Saturday August 26, 2023 from 9:15am-10:45am in Visitation BVM Church 2625 “B” Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her funeral mass at 11am.
