Nicholas J. DeLia, age 46, passed away on January 3, 2026. He was born in Philadelphia, the beloved son of Barbara Busse DeLia and Joseph DeLia. Dear brother of Victoria Maszkiewicz (Joseph). Loving uncle of Zoey and Joseph Maszkiewicz. Grandson of Joseph Delia. Sadly missed by his precious dog Weezie and his extended family.
Nicholas proudly worked as a security guard for Jefferson University for 10 years. While living in Florida, he also pursued his passion for dog grooming, a reflection of his deep love for animals.
He had a profound love for music, especially heavy metal music, and enjoyed playing both guitar and drums. Nicholas was an incredibly talented artist and writer, expressing himself creatively in many ways. Above all, he adored animals and found joy and connection in caring for them
All services will be private. The family is grateful for the love and support they have received during this tragic time. They would like to share the Lyrics from his favorite band.
"If tomorrow never shows, I want you all to know, that I loved you all, you're beautiful, and I had myself a ball." Life of Agony- Weeds
