Ogretta "Greta" M. (Pieszyk) Kowollik

Ogretta M. Kowollik (nee Pieszyk) "Greta" passed away at home on January 31, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She is the beloved wife of Peter. Devoted mother of Peter II (Kate) and Courtney (Tom). Cherished daughter of Stephen and the late Marlene (Oplinger) Pieszyk. Dear sister of Collene Sallee (Anthony), Stephanie Yeager (John), Tressa Johnson (Chris), and also by Nancy Kowollik and Jen Maslanka, who were like sisters to Greta. Adoring aunt to Earl, Hatchert, Payton, Logan, Scarlett, Kaela, Sage, Michael, Joshua, and Tommy. Loving daughter in law of Heidi Marie and the late Norbert Kowollik, and sister in law of Thomas and the late Joseph Kowollik. 
 

Greta enjoyed doing anything that involved getting closer to her family.  Sometimes it was something wildly adventurous like hiking up mountains and other times it was something calm such as sitting in front of a campfire surrounded by loved ones.  Whatever the adventure, Greta was happy to experience it.  Greta got more emotion, love, and experience out of life than someone who lived to be 500 years old.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation and funeral Saturday February 6, 2021 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am. We ask that all those attending services wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
