Patricia A. (Montgomery) Gurganious

Patricia A. Gurganious "Pat" passed away on March 20, 2024 after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 28, 1945 to the late Harry and Anna (nee McBride) Montgomery. 

Pat was a lifelong resident of the East Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, in St. Anne Parish. She lived on Albert Street for over 40 years until relocating to Poet's Walk in Warrenton, Virginia to be closer to her daughter. Pat was a proud employee of the United States Bankruptcy Court where she worked until her retirement. 

Patricia is survived by her daughter Dawn (Jessie) and brothers: Harry (Susan), Joseph (Frances), and Edward (Karen). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John (Kathleen) and her beloved sister Elizabeth "Betty". 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation and funeral Friday April 5, 2024 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church (upper) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125 followed by her funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, at the address listed below.
