Patricia L. (Hart) Hlinka

Patricia L. Hlinka (née Hart) passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 81. She is the beloved wife of the late John “Butch” Hlinka. Devoted mother of Rita Kuruc (late Thomas), Mary Donohue (Patrick), Michael Hlinka, Valerie Neill (Thomas). Loving Grandmom of Steven Kuruc, Patricia Davis, Kevin Donohue, Kristina Gallagher, Matthew Kuruc, Andrew Kuruc, Nicole  Kuruc, and  Kayla Pyle.  Great grandmother to her 12 great grandchildren and one on the way. Dear sister of the late Jacqueline Gaglio and Margaret Carr.

Patricia will always be remembered as being one of a kind. She was very straight forward and you could count on her to “tell it like it is”. She also had a heart of gold and would donate to any cause, even if she didn’t have it for herself at times. She enjoyed her time spent with her fur baby Sugar and especially time spent with her family. She truly lived for her family and would do anything for any one of them. Patricia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Friday January 21, 2022 beginning at 10am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415-17 East Susuquehanna Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125 (Fishtown). Funeral service 11:30am. Interment Oakland Cemetery. 

We ask that all those attending services to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
