Patricia (Twilley) Harris (85) passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She was the loving mother of 7 children, loving grandmother of 15 children and loving great grandmother of 14 children. As a devoted mother/grandmother, faithful friend, dependable neighbor and reliable co-worker, she will be sorely missed by many.
Pat relished family gatherings. She was an avid gardener and an animal lover who enjoyed traveling. Throughout her career as an office manager/administrative assistant she was a devoted employee. She worked for Wescott Steel for over 40 years. She will be sorely missed by many.
Pat was a fierce fighter for what she felt was best for all! As an independent thinker and a person always on a mission to do “what was right” she was a force to be reckoned with. She had a great sense of humor and a dominant sense of authority. Her life’s mission was to set everyone straight! She will be sorely missed by many.
Pat (Mom, Mommy, Mom-Mom, Big Mom-Mom, Ms. Pat, Aunt Pat) made it her life goal to see that her seven children and extended family members remained connected and were supportive of each other. She will be sorely missed by many.
This indomitable woman faced all challenges head-on with a “we shall overcome” attitude. Her Catholic faith was strong and carried her through many trying times. Her “Footprints in the Sand” philosophy guided her life.
“During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints in the sand it was then I carried you”. She will sorely be missed by many.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on Saturday, February 13, 2021 beginning at 9 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, in Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152.
