Patricia “Patty” A. (Galasso) Temple

Patricia A. Temple (nee Galasso) “Patty” passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia on January 27, 1964 to the late Joseph and Patricia (nee Kane) Galasso. 

Patty was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, in St. Anne parish. Patty worked hard, but always enjoyed life. She would always go with the flow had the ability to “make it work” and always with a smile on her face. She made the best memories with her family, from traveling, trips to the Jersey shore, and hosting the best pool parties at her home. Patty also loved shopping and was know for having great taste in shoes and clothes, and…the best hair.

Patty was a loyal friend who cherished the friendships she made throughout her life. Family was always most important to Patty, especially the kids, who just adored her. She was a devoted mother, a loving aunt, and especially loved being a GiGi to her grandchildren. The kids loved being at GiGi’s house where there were sleepovers, movie nights, camping in the backyard, and even popsicles for breakfast…as long as they didn’t tell their parents. 

Patty will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her but they take comfort that she is no longer sick and is reunited in heaven with those who have gone before her, especially her soulmate Floyd. 

Patty is the beloved wife of the late Floyd. Devoted mother of Joseph Kelly Jr. (Gina), Brittney Jowett (David), and Crystal DelQuadro (Andrew). Loving GiGi to Maxine, Sophie, Declan, David, Mia, Anthony, Andrew, and Benjamin. Cherished sister of Mary Galasso, James Galasso (Joanne), and Joseph Galasso (Renee). Sadly missed by her fur baby Gertie and her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Thursday June 27, 2024 beginning at 9:30am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by her funeral mass at 11am.
