Paul Anthony Rutkowski Jr.

Paul Anthony Rutkowski Jr. passed away on November 28, 2021. He is the beloved son of the late Paul A. Rutkowski Sr. and the late Christine Crowther Gassman and stepson of Kevin Gassman. Devoted father of Anthony. Sadly missed by Anthony's mother Jamie Sobotka. Dear brother of Jennifer Rutkowski and Samantha Haines (Michael). Loving uncle of Elisabeth, Michael, Tristan, Chloe, Hayden, and Carson. Also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Paul was a music enthusiast who taught himself to play the guitar so he could play along with friends. He also loved to draw and learn. He taught himself how to speak Polish, something he was very proud of.  Paul was an avid sports fan and enjoyed both playing and watching football and baseball. He especially loved the Eagles and Phillies and would attend the games anytime he had that chance. Paul had a great sense of humor and loved to play with his son and nieces and nephews. His family would also lovingly say that he was conceited. He would say he was the best looking in the world...just ask him! :) He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him but his family takes comfort that he is being reunited in heaven with his loved ones who have gone before him, especially his parents.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Monday December 6, 2021 beginning at 6pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Prayers and Words of Remembrance at 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests any donations toward his final expenses in care of the funeral home.
