Paul W. Ulerick Jr.

Paul W. Ulerick Jr. passed away on June 6, 2026 after courageously battling his health. His loving family was by his side. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Paul W. Sr. and Geraldine (nee Harvey) Ulerick and was a life long resident of South Philly, living all but two years of his life in the very same home. 

Paul was a mechanical engineer in the steel industry who worked tirelessly to provide for his family, dedicating nearly four decades to the industry beginning in 1986. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time at Fireside Tavern, where he looked forward to sharing stories, laughter, and conversation over a beer with friends.

Paul was a man of few words, but when he spoke, he spoke his mind. His family often joked that he had absolutely no filter, a quality that brought honesty, humor, and authenticity to every conversation. Beneath his straightforward nature was a devoted family man whose steady presence, loyalty, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Paul is the beloved husband of Anne Marie (nee Poserina). Devoted father of Jessica Sickel (Michael Anzideo), Paul W. Ulerick III (Monique T.), and Ava Ulerick. Loving Pop to Mikey and Chloe. Dear brother of Geraldine Talarico (Mark), Wayne Ulerick (Mary) and the late Darlene Amato (Michael). Sadly missed by his mother in law Anne Poserina, his brother in law Eddie Poserina, and his nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Wednesday July 22, 2026 beginning at 11am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by his funeral service at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association at the address linked below.
