Raymond J. Dougherty Sr. “Doc”, September 17, 1949 – July 4, 2020

Loving husband of 51 years to Elizabeth “Betty Jane” (Booth). Devoted father of Raymond Jr. (Tara), Bridget Gentner (RT) and Elizabeth Feeney (Bob).  Beloved Pop of Alexis, Justine, Carlie, Padraig, RT, Brady, Eoin, Molly and Bobby and Great Grandpop of Jeremy, Julz, Avery and Andrew.  Dear Brother of Marie Grecco and Francis (Doris).  Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna Dougherty, his brother Joseph and Mother-in law Jennie Booth.

Doc was a Veteran of the US Army and a 38 year employee of the United States Postal Service, he was also an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, where he was a mentor to many .  He was an avid card player and a friend to many.  He could most often be found sitting outside of his house where he greeted everybody with a wave, a smile and conversation. His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his wife.  He was  beloved by all who knew him and he will be missed beyond measure.

 Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Friday July 17, 2020 from 8:15am-10:15am in St. Anne Church (lower). Funeral Mass 10:30am.
