Obituary
Regina Pachucki (nee Staniszewski), age 98, passed away at home on November 8, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Anthony. Devoted mother of Catherine Klauder (Gregory), Diane Knystautas (Martin Piela), Regina Parissi (Robert), Annette Nixon (Thomas), and the late Anthony Pachucki (Diane). Loving Grandmother to Amy, Anthony, Alexis, Jennifer, Amanda, Regina, Laura, Alan, Elizabeth, Andrea, Victoria, Jacqueline, and Danielle. Cherished GiGi to Daryl, Evangeline, Genevieve, Mia, Tommy, Jonathan, Sidman, Isak, Jason, Everleigh, and another great granddaughter on the way. Dear sister of the late Edward Staniszewski.
Regina was a lifelong resident of Fishtown and a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and GiGi. Regina worked beside her husband Tony as owners of Tony's Market at Memphis and Cumberland Streets. She continued with the market after his passing and was fondly known as "Mrs. Tony" in the neighborhood. In her retirement, Regina enjoyed spending time with her friends at Lutheran Settlement House. Regina is best known for her famous chocolate chip cookies, was an avid reader of books, and loved puzzles. She will be forever cherished by her large, extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday November 14, 2022 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church 2328 East Lehigh Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the Lutheran Settlement House.
