Richard L. Petrucci Sr.

Richard L. Petrucci Sr. “Ricky” passed away on April 1, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born on January 18, 1956 to the late George and Catherine (nee Fey) Petrucci. 

Richard is the devoted father of Richard “R-Jay” Petrucci Jr.(Amy), Stacy P. Casler, and the late Cecelia. Beloved Pop Pop of Aubree Cecelia and Bay Helen. Dear brother of William “Bones”, John, and the late George, Freddy, and George. Loving uncle to Catherine (Charles), Lynnie.  Sadly missed by his great nieces and nephews and his extended family.

Richard was a lifelong resident of Kensington and was a fixture in the neighborhood. He enjoyed long walks around the city and greeting everyone he met. He was quirky and friendly and would never walk past you without talking to you. Richard also loved his time at home with his fur babies Babygirl and Buttercup, watching wrestling, and mornings listening to Elvis on the radio. He will be remembered as a simple man who loved fiercely, especially when it came to his family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life Saturday April 15, 2023 beginning at 9:30am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia,PA 19125. Funeral service 11am. Interment Palmer cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his parents and daughter.
