Rosemarie Jackson

Rosemarie Jackson passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 77. She is the beloved daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (nee Cook) Jackson. Dear sister of James Jackson (late Marie), Theresa Dillon (Thomas), and the late Charles Jackson (late Helen), Elizabeth Stranc (late Frank), Frances Jackson (late Joseph), Joseph Jackson (late Ellen), Ernest "Bud" Jackson (Patricia) and Thomas Jackson. Sadly missed by Elizabeth and Frances who were like daughters to Rosemarie and also her many other nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved so much. 

Rosemarie was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia in Visitation BVM parish, where she remained throughout her life. She was a proud parishioner and even worked in the rectory for a time. Rose graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls and after she worked as a bookkeeper for an accounting service. She loved the Philadelphia Phillies and was known for her porcelain doll collection and for always having her cigarettes and Pepsi. More than anything, Rosemarie loved her family and was always there for any of them whenever they needed her. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Tuesday December 27, 2022 beginning at 9:30am in Visitation BVM Church 2625 "B " Street (at Lehigh) Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral Mass 11am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery Yeadon, PA.
