Samuel Doman Obituary

Samuel E. Doman of Elk Township, New Jersey passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 after a courageous battle with his health. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Samuel W. and Dolores F. (nee Fuller) and was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

Sam is the beloved husband and best friend of Mary Jane Massott-Doman. Devoted father of Samantha Doman-Ewerth (David), Erik Doman, Patricia Doman, Nicholas Speiser (Lauren), and Sammy Doman. Loving Grandpop of Joseph (Zoei), Hayden, and Logan. Dear brother of Colleen and the late Patricia, Lori (late Bill), and Michael (Nancy); brother in law of Joyce (Bill). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and also his furbaby Molly.

Sam was a proud Navy veteran, Merchant Marine, hunter, fisherman, bird watcher, animal lover and avid reader. Those who knew Sam will remember him for his devotion to family, his crazy stories, his knowledge of history, his willingness to debate any topic and for his strength and courage. Sam is forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation and funeral Saturday May 31, 2025 beginning at 9am in the St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery 240 N. Tuckahoe Rd. Williamstown, NJ 08094. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests and appreciates memorial contributions to Disabled American Veterans (DAV)at the address and link below.
