Theresa “Terri” J. (Douglass) Omelchuk

Theresa J. Omelchuk “Terri” (née Douglass) passed away suddenly on June 4, 2020 at the age of 59. She is the beloved wife of Paul J. Omelchuk Jr. Devoted mother of Theresa Omelchuk, Paul J. Omelchuk III (Karen), Jennifer Omelchuk, Matthew Horan (Kimberly), and John Omelchuk Sr. (Christina). Loving Mom Mom to Mackenzie Watson, Christopher Watson, Hayley Omelchuk, Kayla Watson, Montez Young-El, Oliver Horan, Leilani Young-El, John Omelchuk Jr. and GiGi to Nevaeh Grace and Zayden. Cherished sister of Cathy Cunliffe (Frank)and the late John Douglass and Raymond Douglass. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. 

Terri will be remembered as being the matriarch of her entire family. She lived for her children and adored her grandchildren. Her door was always open for anyone who needed a place to stay and all were welcomed. She was the “glue” to keeping the family together and would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed shopping and going to flea markets with her husband and loved to sit out on her bench in front of her house. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 
 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Thursday June 11, 2020 beginning at 9:30am in the McElvarr Funeral Home 1415-17 E. Susquehanna Ave. Philadelphia PA 19125 (Fishtown). Funeral service and words of remembrance 11am.
