Thomas Mullen Obituary

Tom entered this world on April 27, 1947 forty hours after his twin sister, Barbara, to the late Edward and Alice Parker Mullen.  He was Fishtown born and raised.   Tom was a proud Marine Corps.  veteran serving in Vietnam, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. Following his military service, he was employed by Maritrans, and worked on tugs along the east coast as an assistant marine engineer, retiring from the tug 'Liberty" in 2008. He will be remembered as a loving family man who had the 'Mullen' sense of humor. He enjoyed the simple things in life like having a smoke and cup of coffee in the yard watching the birds or sitting in his recliner looking out the window and watching Jeopardy.   He is the beloved husband of Rosemarie D. Mullen ( nee Ance ).  Devoted father of Deborah Ann Mullen, Sharon Felicioni ( Robert ), Thomas P. Mullen, Jr. and Patrick J. Mullen ( Lauren ).  Dear brother of Marie Szewczak ( Al ), Edward Mullen ( the late Rosemary ), his twin Barbara Eckert ( William ),  Alice Donnelly, Michael Mullen ( Jerry ), Dennis Mullen ( the late Cheryl ),  Mary Zgrezepski ( the late John ), Matthew Mullen ( Germaine ) and the late John, Joseph ( Claire ) and Patricia. Loving Pop-Pop of Isabel, Dominic, Samantha and Bennett.. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
