Trina Annette Ford

Trina Annette Ford, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 13, 2023. She was born on December 29, 1958 to the late Melvin Sr. and Mary (nee Hebding). 

Trina was raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and remained there throughout most of her life, raising her children in the very same neighborhood where she grew up. Trina worked as a nursing assistant and home health aide, which was perfect for her as she was a natural caretaker. Trina worked at the Penn Home for a number of years.  She lived for her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and she enjoyed every moment with them. 

Trina loved her church deeply and the friendships she developed there. She also enjoyed watching Nicholas Cage films, listening to Elvis music, and trips to Atlantic City, especially in her younger years. 

Trina was truly a sweetheart but would also tell you like it is, even if you did not want to hear it, but it always came from a place of love. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday August 21,2023 beginning at 7pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Her funeral service will begin at 8:30pm.
