Vincent Suarez, age 56, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2025 after courageously battling his health for many years. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 24, 1968.
Vincent was raised in the East Kensington section of the city, in St. Anne's Parish. He remained there until moving to South Jersey later in life. For many years, Vincent worked as a Senior Customer Service Representative for Augusta Westland Aerospace Corporation, a role he truly loved and in which he took great pride. His extensive knowledge of helicopters and their parts was unmatched, and he was always willing to share his expertise with others.
Vincent was the life of every gathering—talkative, quick-witted, and never afraid to march to the beat of his own drum. He had a gift for making people laugh, often in the moments they needed it most, and sometimes even when they shouldn’t.
A devoted “Speed Racer” fan—so much so that his family lovingly called him a Speed Racer freak—Vincent approached life with the same energy, enthusiasm, and fearless spirit as his favorite character.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his laughter, stories, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. His family takes comfort that he is being reunited in heaven with those who have gone before him, especially his furbabies Toro, Daisy, Raina, Blanca, Lady, and Poochi, all of whom were surely waiting to greet him.
Vincent is the beloved husband of 32 years to Deann M. Suarez (nee Lutz). Devoted father of Kevin Seeley (Gina Zeoli). He is the cherished son of Geraldine "Tunie" Suarez and the late John McGinley. Adored brother of Lisa Calter (Ed), Theresa Ragen (Kevin), Ronald Suarez (Dorothy), Michael Suarez (Kelly), Stephen Suarez (Denise), Evelyn Quinn (Joseph), and Manuel Suarez (Claudette). Loving uncle of Keirsten, Lacey, Maxemilian, David III, Anthony, Joseph, Megan, Ashley, and Nicole. Dear son in law of Joseph and Joanne Lutz and brother in law of Jeanine (Florin) and Laura (Ted). Sadly missed by his furbabies Dobbie and Mazzy, his favorite cousins Joanne Bright and Rae-Ann Perkowitz, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom he loved very much.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Friday August 15, 2025 beginning at 6pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125, followed by his funeral service at 7:30pm. Interment private.
"Life is a race well run, and you've crossed every finish line with grace and courage"
