With extremely heavy hearts and some shock that we announce the passing of Wendy June Faust on January 27th, 2024.
Wendy was surrounded by loved ones at the very end. She leaves behind her daughter Emily (Mike), son Elijah (Meaghann), and step-daughter Shannon (Ted). Grammy time brought her unbridled joy, and she leaves behind her grand babies Autumn Fay, Saige Parker, and Willow June.
Wendy received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Temple University, where she met the love of her life, Neal Resnick.
Wendy is a retired Philadelphia Public School teacher, spending decades teaching all over the city, including Adaire Elementary. She spent much of her time involved in her church, Atonement. After retiring, she got her favorite job: being Grammy to her grand babies Autumn Fay, Saige Parker, and Willow June.
She had the most joy in the last years of her life traveling up to families' places in the Catskill’s and Poconos with loved ones, going to Church, playing board games with Autumn, watching QVC, and spending time with her first baby, Emily. Wendy also loved music, playing the piano, and laying out on the beach when she could.
She leaves behind an older brother, Michael Faust (Denise) and her beloved kitties of 18 years, Tiger Lilly, Button, and Angelina)
Friends and family are invited to Laurel Hill Cemetery on Thursday, February 1st @2pm to lay our beloved mother to rest, next to her loving husband.
ALL are welcome and encouraged to attend a memorial service at Atonement Lutheran Church, her beloved church and place of community on Sunday, February 4th, 2024 around 1230 PM following regular morning services at 11 AM. A potluck type luncheon will be served after around 1pm.
