William T. Arnold Jr. “Bill” passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 31st, 2022 at the age of 67 years old. Bill was born in Philadelphia to the late William Arnold Sr. and the late Annamarie Arnold (nee Singer).
Bill worked at St. Joseph’s University as a security guard where he retired early, but was a jack of all trades throughout his life.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bill loved his Philly teams, but the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers were the ones he loved most, in that order. Bills favorite past time above all was fishing. He loved everything about it, the peace and quiet, the excitement of finally catching something, although he landed many, never ate a fish he caught.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Arnold (nee Taffe). His devoted children, Ron, William III “Billy” (Ashley), Dana (Dave), Sarah Santiago (Jesus). Adored grandfather “Pop” of Josiah and Payton, Heather and William IV, Jaxson, Eliana, and David. Bill was expecting the blessing of his eighth grandchild, later this year. Bill is survived by his loving sisters, Carol Bauman (Charles) and Nancy Gushue. Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph Myers (Kathy) and Ronald Arnold and his sister Patricia Brown (Raymond).
Bill will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 11:30am and participate in Words of Remembrance to be offered at 1 PM, at McElvarr Funeral Home, 1415-17 East Susquehanna avenue, Philadelphia , PA 19125. Further arrangements will be private.
