William Mitchell

William Mitchell passed away at home on July 20, 2024 with his loving daughter by his side. He was 77 years old. He was born on January 31, 1947 to the late William and Barbara Mitchell and was raised in Southwest Philadelphia.

William graduated from North Catholic High School then entered the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. Following his time in the military, he began his career with the Philadelphia Sheriff's Office and proudly worked there until his retirement. William loved his job and the people he met along the way.

William is the loving and devoted father of Alyson Mostiller. Adoring Pop-Pop of Alana, Giovanna, and Robert. Dear brother of the late Dennis. William will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Relatives, friends, and coworkers are invited to his committal services Monday promptly at 11am in Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Avenue, Newtown, PA 18940. Please arrive fifteen minutes prior and meet the procession at the designated area for funeral processions.
