William "Billy" Carr Obituary
William J. Carr "Billy" passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 87. He is the beloved husband of Ana I. Carr (nee Rios). Devoted father of Kathleen Zegen, James Carr, Susan Magill (Glenn), Thomas Daley, Bernadette Griffith (Mike), and Elizabeth Figueroa. Loving grandfather of Melissa Zegen, Kate Zegen, Glenn Magill Jr., Shaun Magill, Kathryn Griffith, Faye Griffith, Kelly Griffith, Elijah Wilson, Dante Barroso, and Laylani Barroso. Dear brother of Mary Logan, Catherine Schmidt, and the late Edward Carr, John Carr, Margaret Carr, Joseph Carr, Charles Carr, Vincent Carr, Thomas Carr, Theresa Hagan, Francis Carr, and Raymond Carr. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Billy was well known for his generosity, kindness, and incredible sense of humor. He loved the Jersey shore, bowling, watching TNT classic movies, and taking his children on day trips when they were younger. He was a true, lifelong, Phillies and Eagles fan. Billy was a great listener and always gave you a reason to smile with his quick, Irish wit. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Monday November 7, 2022 beginning at 9am in St. Anne Church (lower) 2328 East Lehigh Avenue Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral mass 10:30am. Interment Magnolia Cemetery.
