I remember my grandfather's, my grandmother's, and many aunts' and uncles' services. Today was no different with my mother's service. It was quiet, soft, and somber, with everyone who was supposed to be there present.

Larry and his team are incredibly friendly, approachable, and have always shown a deep care for the community. When Mom passed, we knew exactly where to turn.

We were given more than enough time for our memorial. They provided numerous opportunities to ensure everyone was comfortable, the chosen music was heard, and all needs were met.

The staff truly felt like an extension of our family. Thank you, Larry and Company, for your compassion and attention to detail during this difficult time.

My son died suddenly in his sleep. I reached out to Larry at McElvarr Funeral Home based on family recommendations and high ratings. Larry was kind and comforting and guided us through the process with courtesy and respect. The service was beautiful. Thank you, Larry and your wonderful staff.

Sorry it took so long to write this. Lisa and Larry were amazing from start to finish for my life partner Joseph Becker. I felt like I didn’t have to raise a finger for anything. They took care of arrangements, luncheon, and everything under the sun. I will be forever grateful for the countless phone calls, emails, and whatever else I needed that never went unanswered. Larry and his staff were very attentive and compassionate. They took time to answer all of my questions and to address my concerns. The level of professionalism was second to none! My mother's services were very dignified.

I would like to thank Mcbride's for they're service. Lisa is great very attentive to all your needs and every detail. I used them for my daughter, husband and brother and been to services for many friends there. The cost is great too. You can't get a better service even at a higher price. I will use them again.

Lisa; I want to thank you and your staff for the time spent with our family and for your attention to every detail (down to the dress, jewelry, shoes, makeup, nail color etc). Our mother (Arline Kidd) knew how she wanted things to be for her funeral and she conveyed this information years ago to your funeral home. What a relief to find out you still had that information and that we were able to do things exactly as she wanted. Thank you also for arranging for our mother to be taken to the church. Having the funeral at the church she attended for many years was important to our family. The services and care that you and your staff provide for those who are grieving is very special and important; it allowed us be able to focus our attention on our family knowing you would be taking care of everything else.

Lisa did such an amazing job coordinating my father’s service. She was so professional and went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. I can’t thank her and McBride’s funeral home enough for the beautiful tribute to my father.

First of all want to say I sorry for not posting this message sooner. I would like to thank Larry McElvarr for all his help with my husband Jim’s Services. You took the time to explain services that my husband was entitled to because he was a veteran and my family and I had no knowledge of and because of these services my husband had a beautiful service and is laid to rest at a beautiful cemetery. Thank you Larry my husband would have loved the arrangements, I know my children andI loved them. Also thank you to your staff for their kindness. Larry, I just found out about your brother’s passing and even though my family and I didn’t know him we want to express our condolences to you. It’s very hard loosing a loved one but especially hard during the holidays. You’ll be remembered in our prayers.
